I am really proud of how you are pushing through the week & studying & finishing up your time at HDC.  You are quite amazing in case everybody forgot to tell you today.

Remember, you can work at home on them.  Go to the HDC webpage then to school information then down to grade 9 information.

Thursday is LOCKER CLEAN OUT DAY...please plan to take tomorrow as well as on Thursday.  Coordinate a ride if you need...if you have that much stuff to take home!!!  :)

You should have a copy of 10.2 and 10.3 to finish up Circle Geometry.  I will post on D2L if you need.  I will also put on the SMART files notes (remember to go through Cougar Community scroll down to May/March 2012 to figure how to open the file at home).  I will also post the Math review.

You will need to start to make a ziploc bag of supplies (pencils, eraser, calculator....no phones allowed) for next week.

Remember....Monday June 13th is a Day 6!!

Wow...we were all so impressed by your Utopia projects.  Amazing work...congratulations on all of your hard work.

Hope you are finding a balance this weekend between having some fun & putting some time into studying.

We will do a practice Math test tomorrow online.  Remember, you can look through and/or complete online practice tests at home.  Go to the HD Cartwright website then to parent info then to grade 9 information & scroll all the way to the bottom.

We will also do a quick little lab on acids & bases tomorrow.

I will post some materials into D2L for you to take a peek through.

Hope the trifold building went well today.

Reminder, you have an in-class Science response tomorrow...you will actually write it in Science tomorrow in period 2...this is a new detail!!

We will also have a Circle Geometry class tomorrow so please ensure that your homework is done so we can push forward.  Thanks.

Please make arrangements to stay tomorrow after school in Study Stop if that is what your Utopia group needs.

Get lots done tonight...final stretch...keep your eyes on the prize :)

Today we worked on the map for Utopia.  Groups were given grid paper & graphing expectations.  We started a River City case scenario...this will be due on Wednesday...one assignment per group.  Tonight you should be working through the viewpoints/opinions & mulling over the economic & political policy changes piece on the last page.

Forms for Thermopylae are due to Mr. Hall if you are participating.

Composite grade 9 photo will be taken on Thursday morning at 10 am.  Due date to order is June 1st.  $15...payment to the office please...cheques made out to Lifetouch please.
