Humanities

We have just started our CREED unit. Creed comes from the Latin word Credo which means "I believe". At the end of our unit, students will create a their own Creed via a project of their choosing...more information related to this will come next week. Throughout this unit we will view videos, read short stories, poems and articles, as well as many discussions.

Questions that students have begun to work on... (minimum of 3 answered in journals...)
1. What is my creed?
2. How does my creed impact my life?
3. How do outside forces affect my creed?
4. Do we have conscious control over it or are we a product of our environment?
5. Where did my creed come from?
6. Does my creed stay the same or change over time?
7. Can a creed be sold or bought?
8. Can you/how will you defend your creed?
9. How will you fulfill it?
